• History

Coburn’s Catering Service, Inc. was established in 1946 by Otha T. Coburn and his wife, Marguerite (Marge), both now deceased, and began operating the food and beverage service at Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation, currently Lockheed Martin. At the same time, he established his outside catering service at the original Triple XXX at 801 North Main Street and took over the concessions at the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show. We are currently in our 72nd year of non-interrupted contracts for the Fort Worth Stock Show.

This is truly a family-owned company. Sons, Gary (passed away December 2002) and Jerrell, literally grew up in the business. The outside catering operation is co-managed by Jerrell and his wife Pam, along with their son Steve. We have served numerous prestigious events including the President of the United States, The Davis World Cup Tennis Tournament, Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the International Science Fair; and we catered the annual Miss Texas Pageant Awards Banquet. Coburn’s also has the privilege of being the in house concessionaire at Will Rodgers Memorial Center.

By providing first class levels of quality and service, Coburn’s has grown and prospered. With our years of experience and top notch employees, who know how to treat the customer, the public continues to count on us for serving them everything from backyard barbecues to formal dinners.
